Classroom
The classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented by well-equipped facilities. They are equipped with computer, LCD/OHP and public address system. The Syndicate Rooms provide the right setting to the students for important brain storming sessions A common room gives students the opportunity to discuss and exchange notes in an informal atmosphere.
Library
The Institute has well-stocked library. The library provides the optimum study environment wherein students can conduct their research and study in solitude and comfort. The PIMS Library also subscribes to number of dailies, Journals and magazines. Library holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, audio-visual materials, CDs, e-journals, annual reports of top companies, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. The library also has Xerox facility for the students.
Computer Lab
People's Institute of Media Studies provides state-of-the-art facilities for training in journalism. It has a fully equipped modern computer lab, with a Local Area Network. In addition to training in standard software such as MS-Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design. hands etc. on training is also given in the use of scanners, printers, digital cameras, Personal Digital Assistant (PDAs) and voice recorders. People's Institute of Media Studies has a 64kbps, 24-hour direct link to the Internet.
Audio Video Lab
The video lab is equipped with Digital Camcorders and mini DV cameras. Non linear edit system RTX 100 extreme pro and Videonix vision mixer is used by students in separate video editing labs for their productions. Facilities for recording and editing multi-camera studio-based programmes are also available.
Auditorium
A Large spacious air conditioned, auditorium with seating capacity 500. Is useful for seminar, workshop, and various other cultural activities.
Sound Recording Studio
The spacious professional sound recording studio is fitted with the latest 24 track digital hard disk recorder. High end microphones, digital audio portable recorders. Mixer consol, an extensive collection in the audio library and some latest sound editing software are made available to students for their in house productions.
Hostel
There is separate hostel for boys & girls with Mess facilities, sports recreation facilities.
Medical Facilities
Medical facility is provided within the campus at the People's Hospital, a well equipped most modern 1200 bedded Hospital attached to its medical college. The students get the first aid free and advanced facility at nominal. Free regular physical examination & Health checkup for the Nursing student in People's Hospital.Concessional medical treatment & medicine facilities available.
Bank and ATM
Central Bank of India has opened a branch in the People's Campus. It also has an ATM attached to it The bank also gives facility for education loans to the student
Stadium and Gymnasium
In tune with the objective of all round development of students, various sporting and physical development activities are encouraged amongst students. To enable students to enjoy sports, the campus is equipped with a stadium for holding various events like cricket, basketball & table tennis, badminton etc. A multi facility gym is also inside the stadium.
